Designer du Jour: Benjamin Hubert

Industrial Designer, Benjamin Hubert, is one of Britain’s most celebrated young guns. After graduating from Loughborough University in 2006, he formed his own studio where he creates lighting, furniture, and products in a wide range of materials. He has received a number of prestigious awards and recognition including Elle Décoration International Young Designer of the Year (2010) and British Design Awards Designer and Product of The Year (2012)

His collection of “Heavy” fixtures seems as light as air. Made from a thin wall of cast concrete, they defy gravity.
