Design-loving gastronauts, rejoice! For more than 30 years Franco–Argentine architect and restaurateur Marcelo Joulia has been collecting midcentury furniture from Denmark, France, and Italy, and now he’s -showcasing his treasures at the “modern Argentine” restaurant Unik. An equally intriguing menu from Michelin-starred chef Mauro -Colagreco includes gems like smoked prawns with sour cream shallots.

Considered an economic burden in countries such as Afghanistan, Nepal, and Tanzania, young girls are often given away in marriage to much older men. In her “Too Young to Wed” exhibit at the Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo—first shown at the UN Headquarters in New York in 2012—Pulitzer Prize–winning photographer Stephanie Sinclair shares haunting images from inside the communities of those affected.

“The Fatal Seduction: Erotic Imagery of the 19th Century”
At the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, 65 works—including sculpture, paintings, photographs, and prints—explore the portrayal of sex in 19th-century Western cultures. The selection includes pieces by European and Argentine artists, as well as the Uruguayan painter Juan Manuel Blanes.
