This Nestea-Themed Tiny House Is Coming to Boston

It's making its way to town during Harborfest.

If you head downtown for Harborfest this weekend, you may notice a tiny house in the middle of Christopher Columbus Park. Nestea is setting up a small white-and-green abode in the park on Saturday, July 1, and Sunday, July 2, to introduce Bostonians to its new line of teas.

Sure, it’s a branded tiny house, but the place is actually pretty cute. The Nestea tiny house made its debut in New York City this May, and is now touring around the country. Its first stop? Boston.

The 200-square-foot house is supposed represent a simple lifestyle, mimicking the brand’s philosophy, “less is more.” The place is equipped with air conditioning and a slew of space-saving design solutions, including a foldable kitchen table, a living room couch that converts into a lounger, and a cutting board installed above the trash. Five people can comfortably fit inside the tiny house, which was built by husband and wife team Erik and Chrissy Kopplin of KCC Design + Build.

Nestea’s new line of teas, by the way, are brewed with no artificial colors or flavors. A tour of the house comes with a tea sample, where you can choose from flavors like peach and raspberry. We’re sure the teas are great, but the house offers some serious tiny house design inspiration.
