Drive toward the western reaches of Jamaica Plain and Roslindale and you’ll end up in West Roxbury—arguably the most suburban-feeling neighborhood in the city. It’s chock full of post-war single-family homes, and a good deal of them are relatively affordable.

In a new report, real estate analytics firm NeighborhoodX identified the nine cheapest homes on the market in West Roxbury. Their asking prices start at $374,900 and go up to just under $500,000.

“These asking prices range from $276 to $399 per square foot, which is on the lower end for Boston,” said Constantine Valhouli, NeighborhoodX’s director of research, in a statement.

The list of nine homes also happens to include a couple of retro pink bathrooms, a popular color choice for toilets, sinks, and even tiled walls in the ’40s and ’50s. Indeed, the homes at 37 Vogel Street and 55 Paragon Road boast rose-colored details. Whether their bathrooms are vintage gems or renovations waiting to happen is for you to decide.

The majority of homes on the list are single-families, save for the condo at 4975 Washington Street. It’s the cheapest abode of all at $374,900, and offers two bedrooms—both with private balconies—and an open-concept living and dining area. The home at 37 Vogel Street asks just $399,000, and has a roomy lower-level plus a fenced-in yard.
