Rent (or Own) at the Pierce Boston
It will be the tallest tower in the Fenway when it’s completed in 2018.
Time to get in line for that deluxe apartment in the sky: This fall, the sales office for the Pierce Boston—which will be the tallest tower in the Fenway when it’s completed in 2018—opens its doors to potential residents.
“We’ve seen the Fenway evolve into an amazing, dynamic destination, so we wanted to create a gateway to the neighborhood that was dramatic,” says Leslie Cohen, a principal with Samuels & Associates, the project’s developer. To sharpen the skyline, the company recruited the Miami-based architecture firm Arquitectonica, which proposed a traditional point tower, something “we’ve seen a lot in New York, but not so much in Boston,” Cohen says.
Made up of condo and rental units, the 30-story luxury building will be wrapped almost entirely in glass. Owner-occupied apartments get prime positioning, of course, with 360-degree views of Boston, Cambridge, the Charles River, and the Emerald Necklace. Junior one-bedrooms offer roughly 577 square feet; two-bedrooms are a roomy 2,329. Renters get plenty of space, too: Two-bedrooms are 1,565 square feet, and some have terraces.
On the ground floor, expect a medley of retail shops and restaurants—plus a doorman, 24/7 concierge service, and private parking. The svelte skyscraper will also have cushy amenities enhanced by height, including a roof deck and pool on the 30th floor, and an 18th-floor yoga studio with city vistas. Om sweet om, indeed.
