Coming Right Up: Ginger Explosion 2

Ginger adorns our sushi, tea, curry, holiday breads, lattes and even cookies. Ironically enough, the root — a longtime cure for nausea and headaches — is even showing up in cocktails! This Wednesday, head over to Ginger Explosion 2 to taste a complimentary ginger liqueur cocktail by Domaine de Canton. Eat Boston, KO Prime, Garden at the Cellar, Bambara, Petite Robert Bistro, and Ronnarong Thai Tapas are teaming up to throw an Iron Chef-like sampling event focused on a single ingredient, ginger.

Details: January 26, 2011, 6:30pm-8:30pm at PA’s Lounge in Somerville. $13.
