Tasty Burger to Expand With at Least Two New Locations This Year

For anyone who has happily downed a jalapeno burger and salty onion strings from Tasty Burger in Fenway, here’s some great news: in as soon as the next six months, the burger joint will be expanding to at least two new locations, according to owner David DuBois.

I chatted with DuBois (who is also the mastermind behind The Citizen Pub and The Franklin in the South End, Southie and Cape Ann), who told me that he’s eyeing locations in Cambridge, Somerville, Roxbury, Mattapan, and Boston proper. Secondary locations will stray a bit from the original Fenway model in terms of hours, appearance, and takeout capabilities, DuBois says, in order to suit the needs of the neighborhood. Planning is still in early stages, so DuBois is mum on any further details. Stay tuned for more here.
