This summer, chef Paul Wahlberg plans to expand his Hingham Shipyard restaurant empire with Gradi, a gourmet pizza concept. Per his burger joint Wahlburgers’ Facebook page, Gradi “is a unique, casual upscale pizza concept that is set to open in the Hingham Shipyard this summer.” Turns out Gradi has a Facebook page as well, which says that Gradi will be offering pies from an “authentic wood-burning oven.”

While we’re still waiting on more details (such as: is it casual OR is it upscale?), Gradi seems like a logical next step for Paul Wahlberg, who has already found success with high-end Italian (Alma Nove) and a more casual burger joint (Wahlburgers). No word on whether his famous siblings Mark and Donnie will be involved, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
