Pastoral Debuts Brunch Service This Weekend

Chef Todd Winer set to unleash fried chocolate ravioli and breakfast pizzas on Fort Port.

Pastoral owners George Lewis and chef Todd Winer will introduce an Italian-inspired brunch at their Fort Point restaurant this coming Sunday, December 21. Available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Winer’s new menu will include both sweet and savory options such as ricotta pancakes, fried chocolate ravioli with strawberry preserves, a salumi hash with soft eggs, and a sweet potato frittata.

Winer will also be utilizing the restaurant’s authentic wood-fired Marra Forni oven that he imported from Naples to whip up breakfast pizzas topped with smoked pancetta, prosciutto, eggs, and fontina cheese. Brunch cocktails available from beverage director Mike Rose include and Italian Greyhound with Campari, grapefruit, and Tito’s vodka; the Sicilian Sour with Amaretto, peach liqueur, and Angostoura bitters; and the Spumante with orange and prosecco.
