Danny Meyer’s Shake Shack Inc. has announced that they’ll be opening two new Boston-area locations the first week of March. The new Dedham outlet, located inside Legacy Place, will open its doors on Sunday, March 1; while the second at 234-236 Newbury Street will open the following day, March 2.

In addition to all the Shake Shack classics, both the Newbury Street and Dedham Shacks will offer a selection of area-specific frozen custard concretes. The Dedham location will include “Wicked Crunchie” (vanilla frozen custard blended with salted caramel sauce, shattered sugar cookie cone, and banana) and Shack Attack (chocolate frozen custard blended with fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough, Mast Brothers Shake Shack dark chocolate chunks, and chocolate sprinkles), a fan favorite that originated at Shake Shack’s flagship location in New York’s Madison Square Park.

The Newbury Shack menu will feature “NewBERRY” (Vanilla custard blended with strawberry jam, cheesecake blondie, and cinnamon sugar) as well as the aptly named “Back Bay Blend” (chocolate frozen custard blended with peanut butter sauce, chocolate toffee, and chocolate sprinkles).

Both locations will feature the “Whoopie Pie oh My,” a vanilla frozen custard blend with pieces of chocolate whoopee pie made exclusively for Shake Shack by the South End Buttery.

In keeping with Shake Shack’s commitment to green architecture and eco-friendly construction, the interior of both locations are clad in reclaimed wood from local sources—church pews from St. Mary’s Church in Dedham and cedar ceiling panels from Newbury Street’s local Boys and Girls Club of Watertown.

The newest additions to the Shake Shack family join Massachusetts’ first locations in Harvard Square and at Chestnut Hill.
