There are a lot of sides, meats, and sweets that go into plating a Thanksgiving feast. But with the help of Bar Boulud, you can cross one course off the list weeks ahead of time.

The Back Bay bistro is now offering a selection of 10-inch pies for online pre-order, courtesy of pastry chef Robert Differ. Available flavors include spiced pumpkin, glazed pecan, classic apple, and pistachio cream. Once ordered, desserts can be picked up at the restaurant from Sunday, November 20, until Wednesday, November 23.

But you don’t have to wait until then to try these festive sweets. Beginning on Thursday, November 10, a pie counter sets up shop inside the brasserie during lunch and dinner. Customers can indulge in any of the above pies for the table, or have a slice at one of the pop-up pie shop’s seven seats. If you can’t decide which to try, opt for the pie sampler and taste all four.

The pie counter will serve sweets from 12-2:30 p.m., and from 5:30-10 p.m. Online pie pre-orders end Monday, November 21.

Bar Boulud isn’t the only local restaurant putting treats on the Thanksgiving table: the Painted Burro in Somerville currently offers a plate of apple pie tacos, and keep an eye out for holiday menus from the reliable bakers at Rosebud, Mamaleh’s, and other local restaurants.
