Not a fan of cooking, but also not willing to dine out this Thanksgiving? Take your turkey to-go—some of the city’s top restaurants, bakeries, and markets will lend a hand. Here’s what to pre-order for your feast, from pies and bread rolls to stuffing and table centerpieces.

Alta Strada Market

Alta Strada Market will be offering Thanksgiving dishes alongside chef Michael Schlow’s full menu. Savory options include whole wheat cranberry and pecan stuffing, roasted squash and Brussels sprouts with pomegranate and rosemary, and buttery whipped potatoes. Desserts range from sweet potatoes with vanilla, maple syrup, and butter crumble, to pumpkin pie and the Wellesley shop’s famous Mascarporeos.

Area Four

If baking isn’t your forte, the original Area Four may be of use. The Cambridge bakery is offering 12-inch pies, which come in eight flavors—apple streusel, pumpkin, pecan chocolate, vanilla cream, chocolate cream, banana cream and coconut cream—and can be picked up on November 22 through November 23. Place orders by November 20.

Bar Boulud

The bistro is now offering 10-inch pies in four flavors—spiced pumpkin, glazed pecan, classic apple, and pistachio cream. Desserts can be picked up at the restaurant from November 20 through November 23. Online pie pre-orders end Monday, November 21. Eager to get a taste? There’s a pop-up pie counter already serving sweets during lunch and dinner hours.

Boston Public Market

Boston Public Market wants to solve all your Thanksgiving dinner preparation woes with locally sourced ingredients and recipes—and centerpieces for your dining table. Find local turkeys from Chestnut Farms, seafood from Red’s Best, and veggies from Siena Farms, and more, and recipe displays for each dish. Additionally, from November 19 through November 23, sign up for market-to-door grocery bag delivery.

Branch Line

Watertown’s Branch Line, one of this year’s Top New Restaurants, is firing up the rotisserie for Thanksgiving, offering its signature Green Circle chicken. Three accompanying sides—wood-fired mushrooms, rotisserie sweet potatoes, and slow-roasted carrots—are also available in portions that feed from 3-20 people. Order by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16.

Commonwealth Restaurant & Market

If you’re good to go with the turkey but haven’t gotten to sides and dessert, Kendall Square’s Commonwealth Restaurant & Market will lend a hand. Sides offered include whipped sweet potato, roasted squash, bean almondine, and herbed stuffing; for dessert, choose from three types of pie—apple, chocolate cream, and pecan. Order from now until Friday, November 18.

Coppersmith

From a hefty turkey, bone-in ham, and brisket to homemade sides that feed upwards of 10 to 20 guests, Coppersmith has got you set. Other dishes available for takeout include sausage and oyster stuffing, cornbread stuffing, garlic mash, and creamed corn pudding. Desserts are pumpkin pie with bourbon whipped cream, chocolate pie with rum caramel sauce, and bread pudding. Mains must be ordered by November 15, side orders can be placed until November 21, and all orders will be available for pick-up from 6-10 p.m. on November 23.

Flour Bakery & Café

Treat your family to award-winning treats with Joanne Chang’s extensive Thanksgiving menu at Flour. Options range from vegan breakfast items to trimmings, sides, and desserts to complement your dinner. There’s duck-fat country bread stuffing with currants, winter greens, bacon and shallots, or (vegan) roasted mushroom and multigrain bread stuffing with porcini, celery and rosemary. Pick-up is available at all five locations from noon on November 22 and November 23. Online orders are accepted until November 17, and by phone or in person until November 18.

Loyal Nine

Haven’t got time to make sauerkraut sourdough loaves, or shoofly pies? Complete your Thanksgiving feast with help from this rustic New England spot in Cambridge. Loyal Nine has a takeout menu of sides, like bean pot onions, and honey glazed turnips; breads, including sourdough, an red fife sesame; and nine-inch pies, in flavors like black walnut. Place orders by November 20.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel

Led by executive chef Daniel Burger, the culinary team at Mandarin Oriental will pack a full feast. The set includes roasted turkey with natural jus gravy, and Mandarin orange and cranberry chutney. Stuffing is served with roasted chestnuts and spiced pork sausage, and there’s baked Gloucester lobster mac and cheese, and creamy, truffle-infused potato puree. Online orders will be accepted through November 21, and will be available for pick-up on Thanksgiving Day between 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Rosebud American Kitchen & Bar

For those who have yet to try Rosebud’s pies, if not now, when? This month’s flavors, which are chocolate cream, Dutch apple, cranberry pear, peanut butter fudge, blueberry crumble, and key lime, are available for pre-order until November 20. Swing through Davis Square anytime between noon and midnight to pick them up between November 22 and November 23.

The Smoke Shop

Andy Husbands’ barbecue joint offers a complete lineup of dishes to go, from whole smoked turkey with Texas stuffing (either $85 or $165) to pork loin ham, and whole-smoked prime brisket. They’re also offering green bean casserole, mashed sweet potatoes, and other sides by the pound, plus butter cake for dessert. Place orders by November 19, and pick up on November 23.

Southern Kin Cookhouse

Head to Assembly Row to pick up your pies from the Southern Kin Cookhouse, which has myriad flavors such as coconut cream, Georgia peach crumble, buttermilk, and pecan. All flavors are available now until November 23. Special flavors—pumpkin and apple crumble—will be available from November 21 through November 23. Orders must be placed two days in advance of pick up, which ends at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23.

For a full fall celebration, throw in a stuffed pumpkin for dinner. Tapestry in Fenway, one of Boston’s Top New Restaurants, will be offering red curry squash stuffed with smoked pork shoulder, Gruyere cheese, mushrooms, and pepitas. Available for pre-order through November 20, each pumpkin feeds between 4-6 guests, and comes pre-cooked.

Union Square Donuts

Tired of traditional holiday pies and sweets? Somerville’s doughnut shop is here to shake things up with fall flavors including apple crisp, pumpkin maple spice, apple cider cake, vanilla bean, Belgian dark chocolate and Vietnamese coffee. As a bonus, they’re also offering a six-pack of dinner rolls. Place orders by November 20, and pick up on November 23.

Have no fear, vegans and gluten-free diners. Orders must be placed by November 21, and can be picked up on November 23.
