There will be no excuse to forget a Valentine’s Day gift this year: EHChocolatier is setting up shop in Kendall Square through the holiday.

The storefront shelves will be stacked with the Somerville company’s artisan candy bars, nut clusters, caramelized peanut butter cups, brown butter toffee, and sacks of hand-mixed sipping chocolate, along with a full range of Valentine’s Day themed boxes and gifts. It’s a one-stop shop with Albertine Press cards and other paper goods, too.

Elaine Hsieh and Catharine Sweeney established EHChocolatier in 2010, in the same industrial neighborhood as Taza Chocolate, and the same building as the vintage letterpress Albertine. It sells bon bons, chocolate bars, and more at local speciality shops out of its Somerville headquarters and at speciality retailers around New England, as well as online. In addition to a couple Best of Boston awards, it has been honored by Food & Wine, the New York Times, and more.

“We’ve wanted to open a retail shop since we started in 2010, and we’re excited to have the opportunity to test the waters in Cambridge,” Hsieh says.

If you find yourself in need of a last-minute gift in Harvard Square, two other Somerville chocolatiers are also making it easy. Gaté Comme des Filles and Somerville Chocolates are operating Somerville on the Charles through February 28.

The EHChocolatier pop-up shop will be open Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., from February 1st through the 17th. It will also open on Saturday, February 11, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
