Have a tough week already? Here’s a stress relieving Thursday night activity: The latest Block Party at Continuum is an ice cream social and petting zoo.

The Lower Allston residence is bringing some fuzzy visitors from Enchanted Animal Parties, a Groton-based company that typically delights children and the elderly with its petting zoo, pony rides, and therapy animal visits. Now their baby goat, chickens, and more will delight the Harvard grad students, etc., who live in the Allston’s first luxury towers. It’s no goat yoga, but there will be beer.

Roxy’s Grilled Cheese will be on site slinging sandwiches and Gracie’s will be scooping cups and cones, all for free. Plus, Revolution Catering is bringing a pop-up craft beer cash bar. The free event is first come, first served, and all guests must be 21+ with a valid ID.

More summer programming is in the works at Continuum; it hosted a pop-up beer garden weekly last summer. This year, the development will welcome its very own Trader Joe’s, as well as Our Father’s, a deli from the team behind Tasty Burger and Citizen Public House.

Block Party at Continuum: Ice Cream Social and Petting Zoon, Thursday, April 27, 6-9 p.m., 219 Western Ave., Allston, Facebook.
