What’s Cooking

By Blythe Copeland

Operation Frontline Dinner
Tremont 647’s Andy Husbands opens his kitchen to his colleagues for the 10th annual Share Our Strength fundraising dinner. This year the seven-course prix fixe includes dishes from L’Espalier’s Frank McClelland, Pigalle’s Marc Orfaly, and dessert from Lee Napoli of Sandrine’s Bistro. ($175 minimum donation, 6 p.m., 647 Tremont St., Boston, 617-266-4600, tremont647.com) 4/23

Easter Brunch
Leave stressful holiday cooking to Boston Harbor Hotel executive chef Daniel Bruce, who whips up mint-roasted leg of lamb, maple-glazed baked ham with pineapple salsa, steamed lobsters, and sour-cream-and-chive biscuits. All that’s left for you to do is dye the eggs and round up the chocolate bunnies. ($37.50–$75, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., the Atlantic Room, 70 Rowes Wharf, Boston, 617-439-7000, bhh.com) 4/8

Benefit Tasting at NuVo
The Roslindale bistro and wine bar invites you to explore the flavor of Italian, French, German, and Irish breads, served alongside wine and cheese from around the globe. Proceeds go to the Jason Roberts Challenger League Program, which teaches disabled children how to play baseball. ($25, 2–3:30 p.m., 4174 Washington St., Roslindale, 617-363-9225, nuvokitchen.com) 4/22

Radius Wine Class
In “Demystifying a Wine List,” Carri Wroblewski and Klaudia Mally of Brix Wine Shop teach women how to order choice vintages with confidence. Wines are paired with ladylike bites, compliments of Radius co-owner Esti Parsons. ($125, 7–10 p.m., 8 High St., Boston, 617-426-1234, radiusrestaurant.com) 4/25

Wine, Women, and Shoes
The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden, a nonprofit that supports breast cancer patients, brings together top female chefs; fashions from Sara Campbell, Sumi Séo, and Tess & Carlos; and wines including Cosentino Signature, Pretty Sally Estate, and Honig Vineyard for a reception, dinner, and auction fundraiser. ($150–$250, 6:45 p.m., Back Bay Events Center, 180 Berkeley St., Boston, healinggarden.net) 4/28

Fontodi Estate Wine Dinner
The Manetti family made terra cotta for nearly 300 years before switching to wine in 1968. See how that change has worked out, as Tomasso Trattoria dishes up five courses paired with chianti, syrah, and vin santo blends from the Tuscan estate. ($125, 7 p.m., 154 Turnpike Rd. (Rte. 9), Southborough, 508-481-8484, tomassotrattoria.com) 4/30
