Get out of town to celebrate harvest time at this month’s food and wine festivals.

Foxwoods Food & Wine Festival: Top-name chefs Tom Colicchio, Tyler Florence, and Masaharu Morimoto arrive in Connecticut to showcase their culinary skills alongside hometown heroes Michael Schlow (Radius, Via Matta, Great Bay) and Boston wine columnist Anthony Giglio. The weekend kicks off with a Friday night cocktail reception followed by Saturday’s grand tasting and Sunday’s chef demos. Prices vary by event, $40–$225, foxwoodsfoodandwine.com. 9/8–9/10.
Maine Fare: The seaside town of Camden hosts this annual three-day event. At Friday night’s “Tastings” dinner, local chefs create meals from homegrown, organic ingredients.
