Let mom kick back and enjoy her day off with Chef Paul Turano’s exclusive brunch menu with a kale and brussels sprouts salad, steak and eggs, brioche french toast, and more. If she wants to sleep in, just skip the eggs and treat her to a Mother’s Day dinner featuring favorites such as prosciutto flatbread, beet and ricotta ravioli, and crispy pork shank with stir fried vegetables. Clio Restaurant

One of Food & Wine’s Best New Pastry Chefs of 2013, Monica Glass will be honoring all of Boston’s mothers with a three-course dessert prix fixe menu including a passion fruit mousse with hibiscus and coconut ash, chocolat à la menthe, and milk and honey with sweet orchid root. Not only are these treats delicious, 30 percent of all sales will be donated to The Women’s Lunch Place, which offers a safe sanctuary, meals, and critical support services for local women experiencing homelessness or poverty.

Food Trucks at Arnold Arboretum

If your mom is a little picky and you don’t want to disappoint, take her to 106th Annual Lilac Sunday celebration at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum. The Arboretum will feature 10 food trucks representing a variety of choices from Bon Me, Mei Mei Street Kitchen, and Clover, all among the Arnold’s beautiful and extensive lilac collection. One day is definitely not enough to pamper mom, so go ahead and dedicate the entire weekend to your favorite lady. Moms can unwind in Towne’s sun-soaked patio and get treated to hairstyling and partial updos from a SalonCapi stylist, as well as chair massages and makeup applications from Elizabeth Grady. Towne will also be offering a Mother’s Day brunch with assorted house-made breakfast pastries, raw bar selections, a variety of egg dishes.

The talented Josh Lewin has created a special three-course prix fixe to celebrate this Mother’s Day. The menu will include choices such as roasted asparagus salad with farm egg, spring dug parsnip puree, onion confit and bacon, Faroe Island salmon, brioche French Toast, and a selection of house-made desserts. Gourmet-To-Go-Dinners

If you’re looking for something more laid-back at home, but have no skills in the kitchen, order a Mother’s Day Gourmet-To-Go-Dinner and let The Modern Rotisserie do all the cooking for you. Pick homestyle options from apple roasted chicken, to classic macaroni and cheese, and more. Not only will you be showing mom how much you care, you’ll also be helping out women in need. The restaurant will be donating 10 percent of its profits to The Second Step. Orders must be placed by May 7.

Beat Hôtel

Join in some family-friendly fun and enjoy Executive Chef Rebecca Newell’s delicious a la carte brunch. Some favorites include quiche made with Italian sausage, kale with mozzarella, frites and salad, wild flower honey and lemon pancakes, and eggs benedict. There’s also a kids menu with favorites like grilled cheese and French toast. Later that evening, the Beat Hôtel will feature an array of dinner specials—like Colorado lamb chops and Buffalo cauliflower—that pair perfectly with the its extensive list of wines on tap.

Brunch options include heirloom beet gnocchi, grilled flat iron, roasted bone marrow, and more. They’ll be taking reservation for seats in their second floor dining room and seating will be available in the cafe on the first floor for walk-ins.
