As befits its Davis Square location, the Hub's newest burger joint seems tailor-made for undergrad appetites. There are 22 specialty burgers, plus a choose-your-own-adventure menu of toppings, 11 kinds of fries (which have their own permutations of sweet and savory seasonings), plus sandwiches, appetizers, wings, and salads. Execution can be uneven, as evidenced by the overfried mac 'n' cheese bites. But those willing to throw caution to the wind can enjoy some outrageous burgers, including the simple Boston (lettuce, tomato, onion) and the obscene Kitchen Sink: a patty heaped with American, provolone, cheddar, fried egg, bacon, ham, grilled onions, peppers, and mushrooms, all doused with the house barbecue sauce.
