Do college students fear they’ll fall off the edge of the earth if they go past Brighton Avenue on Harvard Street? It’s the only way to explain how Common Ground hasn’t been overrun by guys with popped collars and girls in Uggs. The restaurant and bar has everything to attract college students—cheap, decent food, a wide variety of liquors and beers, ‘80s night on Thursdays, and it’s in Allston—yet it remains populated primarily by hipsters and recent college grads. Not that we’re complaining.
