Gitlo's Dim Sum Bakery

Delectable little bites are the staple of this tiny Allston shop: shrimp dumplings, tender barbecue pork buns, daikon cake in XO sauce. The place is short on atmosphere, but friendly service is a welcome compensation, and prices are so reasonable you can afford to make regular visits, thus circumventing the twin perils of Chinese small plates: dim sum binge, followed by dim sum coma.
