Much about this Mandarin Oriental jewel is impressive, including the innovative French fare, the truly gracious service, and the best cheese cart in town. Chef Frank McClelland’s tasting menu is a must for any gastronaut; with choices ranging from oysters with bacon and pickled rhubarb to decadent butter-poached lobster, it’ll remind you that food can be not just nourishing, but also transporting.

We were looking for the best fine dining restaurant in Boston, and we found it. This was truly a romantic fine ding experience. The food and atmosphere were beyond reproach and the servive was very caring, helpful and professional without being stuffy. Everytime I come to Boston, I will eat here. It is one of those places that no mater what you order, you will like. The presentation and ingredients are a taste sensatiom. Expensive but worth it. Posted by Joe: Apr. April 30th, 2012 at 12:20 PM
