The world-renowned Wellfleet oysters are as authentic and fresh as they come here—delicately fried, the battered morsels need no tartar sauce. But this fixture on the town pier is more than a clam shack, serving everything from seared tuna salad wraps to scallop burritos and quesadillas to sushi. The stand is so popular the owners opened the indoor sit-down Mac’s Shack down the road for the mosquito-averse, but the original is not to be missed.
