Every time I eat at the North Street Grille, it's a wonderful food tasting experience. Both brunch on Sat & Sun and the amazing dinner menu, which changes seasonally, are an excellent choice among the similarity of other North End eateries. The wait staff is also amazing in getting your orders in and keeping the faithful patrons moving with the busy weekend brunch crowd. A+++

My family and I went out to eat in the North End the other night and decided to go off the beaten path in search of something different. We came across the North Street Grille and decided to give it a try. The place was very clean and the wait staff didn't have the typical North End attitude and were overly friendly so we decided to try it. While there they treated us like family and also entertained my kids, which is uncommon for the area. The food was very good and fresh. My kids ate everything on the plate and I can see why, the mac&cheese was to die for (homemade), my steak was top quality and cooked they way I asked which is rare, no pun intended. My wife loved her dinner and the non stressed atmosphere so much she said "I think we found a new home" So, I would give this place 10 stars hands down! My wife says 20 stars.

I wish that there wasn't a 200 word max here, because words do not begin to describe how BAD this place was. I have never been more insulted by a rude owner and whiny unhelpful staff in my life, nor do I believe I ever will be again because I would not return here if you paid me $500. Check out my longer review at yelp.com and urbanspoon.com What a poor restaurant, just really really bad.

***** 5 STARS This is a hidden gem in the North End. The food is excellent, prices are very reasonable, our waiter Glen, is very professional and pleasant. You'll never go wrong eating here. The room is small and cozy, probably not a place to have a business meeting, but definitely a place to bring family and friends.

Damnit downton, because of you I went to bed far too late. Going to be a sleepy train ride mañana.
