Pho 2000
198 Adams St.
Dorchester, MA 02122
Tucked into a storefront in Dorchester, this kitschy, ultracasual Vietnamese café is worth seeking out. And though most patrons are Vietnamese, everyone on staff speaks English, if slightly broken. Seven courses of beef for two features bo nhung dam (thinly sliced beef cooked at the table in a hot pot); bo lui (beef skewers marinated in garlic, pepper, lemongrass, sesame, and soy sauce); and cha dum (steamed ground beef with salt and pepper, peanuts, lemongrass, and onions), each of which is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Or, opt for fragrant, chicken, beef, tripe, or meatball pho plus stir-fried options and satisfyingly crunchy spring rolls.

Review
My friend recommended this restaurant so I brought the familiy with me. Amongst the five of us, we split the 7 course beef, some pho, vermicelli, and rice. Everything was DELICIOUS! The meats were marinated to perfection and were very flavorful. The 7 course beef was a new experience for the fam, and they LOVED it! My dad is a chef and can be a bit hard to please and he even gave them two thumbs up!
Seating is a bit tight but the awesome food makes up for it. We really enjoyed out experience and will definitely go back.
