A linchpin in what some saw as the renaissance of Brighton Center and others saw as the destruction of the working-class Irish neighborhood, SoHo has had a trendy influence on Market Street. Serving an extensive menu with Asian, Italian, along with pub fare, SoHo also serves as Brighton Center’s largest nightspot, with a capacity of 400. It hasn’t totally ruined the neighborhood’s down-and-dirty reputation, however—while martini-swilling types will enjoy themselves, the game will be on one of SoHo’s many plasma screen televisions.
