Boston

I was in a medical tent being treated for dehydration when we heard the explosion. Shortly there after they announced the explosion had resulted in casualties and that medical staff should prepare to treat serious injuries from the victims. Thankful that I was able to exit before seeing the horror. It hurts my soul to think that they targeted spectators, who in Boston are of a special breed. They get no glory, no finisher’s medal, just pleasure from seeing what others can do. I will finish the race in 2014 and can’t wait to cheer on those who cheer.
