This luxury hotel opened last summer on the site of the famed (if unromantic) Charles Street Jail. The Liberty has retained much of the building’s original structure, including the distinctive rotunda, which provides dramatic views and plenty of natural light. The dramatic ballroom can accommodate a sit-down dinner for 225, while other meeting rooms can handle groups up to 120.
