On 02/19, Symphony Hall turned into a catwalk for a fashion contest featuring evening wear designs that were inspired by the music of Mozart and created by 11 local students. Guests viewed the dresses as they were presented by professional models before the all-Mozart program, and the winner was declared at the conclusion of the concert after a runway show.

Pictured: The winning design was created by Lowander Lee (left) from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. The modern cocktail dress was made using sheets of metallic paper in black, purple, and silver, which also had musical notes printed on them. Lee then cut the colored sheet music into little hearts and sewed all of them together to create the dress.
