The Newman School

“At Newman, you’re exposed to so many cultures and academic experiences that when you graduate, you’re much more than a successful student. You’re a global citizen who can see life through many lenses.” —Newman Student

The Newman School is a private school grades 7–12 in Boston’s Back Bay, providing students with a balance of a stimulating and challenging curriculum in a uniquely supportive and encouraging environment. Newman offers both a traditional liberal arts program and the globally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. Designed to promote an international perspective and civic mindedness, the IB Program is widely regarded as one of the most rigorous high school diploma programs and is highly respected by colleges and universities worldwide. Newman is one of only four private and 14 combined public and private high schools in Massachusetts that offer IB.

At Newman, the city becomes the classroom as students study at the Boston Public Library, enjoy rowing crew on the Charles River, playing soccer on the Esplanade and more. Visit newmanboston.org for more information.
