Luke's pieces are produced individually, by hand in small-scale workrooms in the USA, and feature delicate finishing seldom seen in mass-produced clothing.

Karina Bresnahan creates swimwear with an emphasis on bold fabrics, sexy and sophisticated silhouettes, and an exotic flair. Karina recently graduated from the School of Fashion Design and earned a coveted spot in The Launch 2011.

Mark Cordell's Tru Fiction line for men features daring silhouettes, intricate cuts, and a modern take on classic American sportswear. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Mark was a junior menswear designer for the Society clothing brand at Karmaloop Global, and graduated from Bay State College.

Victoria Dominguez-Bagu dresses the modern woman from day to evening. She introduced her elegant, feminine ready-to-wear line called mariavictoria in The Tent at BFW 2011. Victoria was born in Uruguay and graduated from the School of Fashion Design in Boston.

Grace Kim's designs for g. K I M studio are based on a system of integrated separates that have been described as mod and classic with interesting details that keep it fresh and fashion forward. Before setting up her business in California, Grace went to law school in Boston.

Texas-born designer Sam Mendoza unapologetically pushes boundaries and challenges norms. His distressed, raw edged aesthetic uses sophisticated draping and simple construction to balance the polish of high society with the aura of a scandalous underground for the unpredictable modern woman.

Emily Muller's beautifully made clothing reveals her love for the aesthetics of early- to mid-20th century, evident in the natural texture of the fabric, rustic hardware, and vintage silhouettes. Based in the South End, Emily is expanding the scope of her line to reach a broader audience.

Born in Hong Kong, Candice Wu's designs blend cultural influences, traditional elements, and modern ideas to create both functional and artistic pieces for her ready-to-wear and custom couture evening collections. Candice is a graduate of School of Fashion Design.

Firas Yousif's modern interpretations of timeless beauty have been described as living works of art. Firas specializes in couture bridal and eveningwear. Based on Newbury Street near the Public Garden in the historic Back Bay, his aesthetic is inspired by the architecture, history, and natural beauty of New England.

Boston Fashion Week ’New Faces’ Designer
Fashion Group International of Boston in partnership with Boston Fashion Week is the force behind THE LAUNCH, an event that puts the power of established industry professionals behind five new designers to watch. Each designer selected is a recent graduate from one of the many respected fashion design programs in the region and will show a capsule collection as part of this group presentation.
Tatiana Cueva's collection is a very detail oriented collection featuring handmade details, mixed prints and textures. Tatiana was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and graduated from the School of Fashion Design.
Danielle Fernandes' dark, edgy aesthetic using varied textures and patterns is ideal for the strong, confident, risk-taking trendsetter. Danielle was born in Yonkers, New York, and graduated from Mount Ida College.
Achk Kombana's African origins and European experience inspire her textile based ready-to-wear collection featuring native mud cloth. Born in the city Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, and graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
Rei Hyun Lee
Rei Hyun Lee uses organic lines, and natural colors to explore avant-garde combinations of oriental themes and western influences. Rei was born in Seoul, Korea and graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
Jennifer Miller is committed to the fight against aesthetic monotony, engaging her customer through modern, art inspired mix and match separates. Jennifer was born in Cupertino, CA and graduated from the School of Fashion Design in Boston.
