From the Doctor
Internal medicine has evolved into a complex specialty now known as primary care. It requires more than a time pressured visit with a provider. My goal is to manage your medical needs by using my 38 years of teaching and patient care to ensure your healthcare goals are exceeded by using a personalized and academic approach.
My training has been entirely here in Boston and includes internal medicine, nephrology, followed by hypertension and atherosclerosis training. I am a hypertension specialist and a fellow of the American Heart Association. I have spent my entire career at Boston Medical Center, and the last 27 years with an office in the Back Bay. The last three years have focused on a more personalized approach to healthcare with the patient as the primary focus.
