Some say waiting in line at this funky, glammed-up luncheonette is half the fun of its frenetic, highly social weekend brunch scene. Clearly, they have yet to indulge in the sourdough-pecan French toast with orange-Jack Daniel?s butter. Or maybe they?ve missed the coconut-milk-laced spicy Thai scramble. The toast is just-baked, thick-sliced oatmeal bread. The corned beef hash is homemade, start to finish. The pancakes are Pennsylvania Dutch (with jarlsberg cheese). The wait might be a kick, but fixings this outstanding are what make the anticipation worthwhile.
