When you think of the utmost in posh elegance, one name comes to mind: The Ritz. When you combine that iconic moniker with Boston’s finest, you get The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common.

At this luxury urban hotel, wedding celebrations are more than planned—they’re designed. Every detail is based on your vision, their skills, and—perhaps most importantly—location, location, location. Between the Theater District and the Financial District in the heart of the city, pre-wedding photo ops abound, and ceremony and reception views through floor-to-ceiling windows remind you how beautiful your city really is.

The hotel’s stunning main ballroom features more than 3,000 square feet of space directly overlooking the Boston Common. Also boasting brand-new custom linens and furniture, this fresh space accommodates over 200 guests for a seated wedding dinner with dancing. Silver leaf ceilings and modern, design-forward lighting offer a stylish palate for your dream wedding.

Speaking of lighting, just look up! The ballroom’s dramatic chandeliers are designed to look like the ones Hans Harald Rath created for the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Luxurious silk wall coverings and a custom designed carpet complete the effect.

Consider the hotel’s Avery Bar. With a sexy and sophisticated Mad Men vibe, it reflects a refined elegance combined with midcentury-inspired furniture, lighting, and forms. The space is perfect for your “first look”—or perhaps your “last call” during an evening guest rendezvous after your wedding.

Leading into the ballroom, view the hotel’s Studio, a newly renovated space that’s a lesson in extravagance. It boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, white-ostrich-leather-covered walls, and mother of pearl accents, and it accommodates up to 125 guests for a smaller wedding or maybe a pre-event cocktail hour.

Turn to the contemporary sophistication of the Washington Junior Ballroom for ceremonies for up to 150 guests. This site includes dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows, elegant fabric walls, lace wood, beautiful nickel lighting fixtures, and a pre-function area. From there, it’s a seamless transition into cocktails in The Studio and a reception in The Ballroom.

And once the wedding is over, there’s no need to stop the party. The complimentary honeymoon package includes five nights at one of 60 Ritz-Carlton hotels throughout the world. Just book your receptions in the Ballroom by December 31, 2015, and have the wedding take place on or before December 31, 2016.

The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common is located at 10 Avery Street in Boston.
