My husband and I were truly wowed with Brian and his assistant Maria. Both were truly fun and easy to work with every step of the way. I couldn't be happier with our pictures and the album came out beyond our expectations.

Brian and Maria are so incredibly talented. For someone who is camera shy and considers herself non-photogenic, they took the most amazing pictures of my husband and I on our wedding day and at our engagement shoot prior. They captured moments that I wasn't even aware were happening and all of the moments that I never want to forget in an unobtrusive, loving way. They are not just photographers; they are friends for life.

I cannot highly enough recommend Brian Phillips. His professionalism is unparalleled; his muted and respectful participation was much appreciated on our stressful wedding day; and the photos produced from his hard work are the most beautiful I've ever seen. Photography was one of the most important details of our wedding day and Brian captured each special moment. I'm thrilled that those moments are forever documented for me, my husband, and our families.

Brian and Maria shot our wedding this past summer. From our initial consultation to post-wedding questions, they were 100% reliable, organized and professional. They make the best team! Maria was on top of all the details on our wedding day...we didn't have to worry about a thing...she's just fabulous. And Brian is so obviously talented - we loved how is documentary-style captured the day. He was omnipresent, yet you never knew he was there! His style is not invasive at all, and we loved that. Our entire wedding party was impressed with how efficient and wonderful they were. The final product is priceless - the images they captured will be treasured forever, and we have them to thank! We would unequivocally recommend Brian and Maria to anyone.

We had Brian and Maria shoot both our engagement and wedding photos. There is something about the way they work that makes you feel so comfortable and confident. They truly make you feel so natural and it carries into their work. Every single photo they shoot is amazing. They have definitely captured the best moments at our wedding. Not only are they the best photographers and have the best work I have ever seen, but they are the best people to work with. They are extremely genuine and down to earth. I recommend them to everyone not just for weddings which is their specialty but for engagement, children and anything else that is important in your life. You can trust them that they will do the best job and way above your expectations.

Brian and Maria shot our wedding and we can't say enough good things about them!! Their low key approach and personalities made it so easy for us to work with them. We loved them and recommend them to all our friends.

Brian and Maria were absolutely fantastic to work with!
Right from our first meeting we knew that we wanted Brian and Maria to be our wedding photographers. The quality of their work is exceptional. They have a special talent for capturing all the excitement of the wedding day, but without overlooking all the small details that make it so special. We absolutely love the photos that they took!
When we were selecting our wedding vendors, not only did we want to choose vendors whom we could completely trust to do an excellent job, we also wanted to like and enjoy working with them. Brian and Maria were so fun to work with! A few months before our wedding, we did an engagement session. It was such a blast to do and was a great way for us to get to know them and for them to get to know our personalities and what we were looking for in photos. Their enthusiasm for photography put us at ease and allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience. On the day of our wedding, we knew that they would be there to capture every moment in exactly the way that we wanted.
Brian and Maria are both very professional and yet personable at the same time, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

My wife and I got married in Scotland in June of 2008 and Brian and Maria were enthusiastically there to shoot it. Having never seen the layout was no obstacle at all for these two. You were hardly ever aware they were around and we could not have been happier with their work. They are both very pleasant and beyond professional. We have since recommended them to everyone we know getting married. An easy choice for a fantastic product.

For our engagement photos we wanted something different, not the same old beach-park historic Boston location. Those are great, but not really us. When we shared our first date location (a bowling alley on Rt.2) with Brians wife and assistant Maria, she jumped on it.
Many brides-to-be wouldn't be thrilled to have their photos shot in a place where there is a necessity to sanitize shoes, but I figured, "What the hell? Let's do it!" We had a blast with Brian and Maria! They have such a talent to capture the true nature of a couple. They reignited memories from our first date, and gave us new ones of all the fun we had during the shoot. That our photos are phenomenal goes without saying. Brian turned a somewhat depressing bowling alley into a colorful and tender location. Any Bride who secures Brian Phillips Photography for her wedding or engagement session should consider herself very lucky they are THE BEST in BOSTON!

After seeing our wedding photos taken by Brian Philips, all my friends wanted to book them for their weddings and events. They were so discreet in capturing the special moments of our wedding. We have so many wonderful pictures of us and our friends and family. We decorated our home with many of the pictures, not just because they are pics from our wedding, but because their pictures are works of art!

Brian and his assistant Maria were fantastic to work with. Brian has an impeccable eye for detail that shines through in every picture. My husband and I were so impressed that he not only captured every moment we hoped for, but he also managed to capture the true emotion of the evening. We were blown away by the final results of our engagement pictures, wedding pictures and our album is absolutely stunning.

Brian shot my wedding in May of 2005, and since then has done a number of photoshoots for me (pregnancy shoots, pictures of my daughter, and even some pictures of my Rhodesian Ridgeback!) I am never disappointed in his work!!! He has amazing ideas for pictures that are truely unique. Thanks for all your hard work Brian!

Brian was absolutely wonderful and a joy to work with. He was so professional yet friendly at the same time. We received our proofs very quickly after our wedding and love them. The photos are so beautiful and really captured every emotion we were feeling on our special day. As a photographer myself, I can really appreciate the quality of our photos. We would highly, highly recommend Brian.

Brian is a real professional photographer. He is also a people person which is necessary when dealing with stressful situations. I have been an avid photographer for twenty five years and Brian's work was very special. The pictures have now been posted on the web and the family is very pleased. A big thanks to Brian and his wife for a super job !! Newton, Ma

Many group pictures were out of focus and uninspired. Some photos were quite good, but many others looked like an amateur took them. Overall, not hardly the Best of Boston. Unpleasant to deal with after the fact.
