My husband and I filed a small claims suit against Jon Hill and responded to the suit by requesting a hearing. We are currently awaiting the date of the hearing from Derry District Court. We will then take our case to a judge. Our wedding was in 2009 and we have never received our album. Please contact me if you are in a similar situation . firstname.lastname@example.org

It has been over 3 years since my wedding and over a year since Jonathan's post about shutting down and I still don't have my albums. I heard back from him about getting the albums together and then nothing, shocking I know. Is there anyone else still in this situation? I am hoping maybe we can ban together and take some other form of action.

Just saw Jonathan's posting and am floored that he doesn't know exactly who I am....seeing as how it has now been almost FIVE years since my wedding and I STILL don't have my album. However, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt (ha) and emailed him letting him know who I am and what is owed to me. I also let him know that if I do not hear back, I will be taking him to court. Stay tuned....

PSW is shutting down and I have been steadily working through the backlog to make sure everyone has their albums. At this time everyone has recieved all their images on DVD. I have contracted a pro album designer to help me finish any remaining albums asap. Let me know if you are still due something: email@example.com

We used Jonathan in 2006 for our wedding. The images he took at our wedding were not up to par with his samples. It has now been FOUR YEARS since my wedding and I still have no received my album.

Do not bother with him, I reported him to BBB were I learned he had 6 outstanding complaints. I took him to court, he never appeared and now he's out of business and I'm out of money for sueing him. We were married last year and never recived photo ablum.

We were married almost 3 months ago (November 7th) and we have yet to receive our DVD of images. We didn't order an album or any prints that could take extra time; it was literally just a DVD of pictures.
Ontop of his inability to fulfill his end of our contract, he is completely impossible to get a hold of. We have called countless times, left messages and sent emails on a weekly basis to try to get any information out of him and he has NEVER responded to any communication. Even the week before our wedding I couldn't get a hold of him to set a schedule for the day. We had a back-up photographer on speed-dial incase he didn't show! That's how worried we were about him.
At the wedding, he said in 2 weeks we should have a DVD. 2 WEEKS!
I really wish I had taken the time to check him out more thoroughly and had someone to warn me about PSW and his terrible business practices, so if this helps a bride find a photographer who will give them the attention and respect they deserve, then I'll be happy.

I am still waiting, like almost everyone else, for the pics from my October 2009 wedding. He does not return e-mails or phone calls. I had the same problem getting in touch with him the week of the wedding to set a schedule. YIKES!!!!

I made the mistake of ordering pictures online from the picturestory website of a wedding I attended. I have been charged on my credit card months ago (Aug) and still have not seen the pictures arrive in the mail. I have left multiple emails and voicemails and received no response.

We contracted Jonathan Hill of Picture Story Weddings to photograph our July wedding in New Hampshire. As of NOV, he has not provided us with the proofs or the photo album for which he has already been paid. He has not responded to innumerable calls or emails. I wish I had seen this blog or reviewed his record with the Better Business Bureau - he currently has an F rating based on 6 formal complaints. I would strongly recommend not using this unprofessional photographer.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I booked Jonathan. He seemed so professional and great the day of the wedding, but it's been six weeks, and we've had no communication since the day of the wedding. We've called and emailed, and I am now horrified that we have paid in full, since I am expecting to receive nothing now - our pictures have not even been posted online yet. I do have many friends that are attorneys, but the last thing I want as a memory of my wedding is a protracted legal battle. My advice - pay a little more and hire someone recommended on the knot. At least you'll get your pictures!

My wife and I were married in July of 2008 and we have been attempting for several months to get in touch with Jonathan about our photographs and getting an album. He has not responded to any of our voicemails or emails and has even changed his cell phone number from the one listed here. I'm on the verge of contacting the Better Business Bureau and my father-in-law (who paid for the service) is meeting next week with his lawyer to discuss a possible lawsuit. Jonathan and his partner did a great job on the day of the wedding and we loved the photos (while we were still able to look at them online) but this lack of response has been beyond maddening.

After writing my review on April 1st and writing one last terse email I was surprised and happy to receive an immediate reply within minutes from Jonathan Hill. He sent the dvd of all the wedding photos via priority mail the next day and my daughter received them on April 3rd. I don't know what finally prompted a response after all this time but we are very happy to now have them. After reviewing all 800+ photos again I can honestly say that the photography was fabulous.

Jonathan Hill and his partner took fabulous photos for my daughter's wedding in July 2007. The cost was very high but we thought worth it because of the quality. The pictures were removed from his website after a period of time and we have never received the DVDs of proofs that we are entitled to. We have left numerous emails and voicemails and have even now threatened legal action. It is very distressing to have absolutely no response and worry that we will never see these photos again. The bottom line is this: DO NOT USE THIS MAN OR YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR PICTURES!! If anyone has any luck reaching him please post how you did it - we have been trying for about 1 1/2 years!

Since writing my previous review, I have receive an email and the wedding pictures have been posted on the Picture Story Weddings website. Mr. Hill does a good job capturing moments and was very nice and patient the day of the wedding, but we can still only view the pictures on line (which does not help)as the image disk that was promised in the contract has still not been received.

My daughter was Married in Dec. She used Jonathan Hill as photographer, paid him and to this date has not seen a picture, received a return call or return email.

Jonathan Hill takes gorgeous pictures. He's a photojournalist and is very good at capturing moments unobtrusively. At my wedding, he was easy to work with and the resulting pictures are great. HOWEVER, it's been over a year since I got married and I have yet to receive 3 albums we paid for as part of our original contract. He has canceled his cell phone and does not respond to emails or voicemails. If you choose to use him, beware you may end up in the same tough situation we're in now with no money and no albums.
