Before and After: Boredom, Banished
To improve their “drywall box” of a South End duplex, Jackie Jenks and Mike Russos called on friend Beth Whittaker of Boston-based Merge Architects. Because the couple’s budget was tight, Whittaker mixed off-the-shelf décor with custom touches when remodeling the stairwell, master bath, and guest bedroom. The resulting design is current and comfortable.
