Bypass Falmouth for towns farther from the bridges, and you'll miss out on a boatload (literally) of fun.

FRIDAY

SATURDAY

8:30 a.m. Grab breakfast at the Palmer House — made with herbs from its organic garden — then hit Corner Cycle and gear up for the Shining Sea Bikeway. 1:30 p.m. The afternoon is for lazing in the sand. Try Old Silver Beach, on Buzzards Bay, or venture east past a string of little ponds to Menauhant Beach, which boasts glimpses of the Vineyard.

SUNDAY
