Found Art: Shape-Shifter

WALTHAM-BASED ARTIST and RISD grad Hannah Bureau launched Three Sisters Ink with her sisters, Rebecca and Sarah, a publicist and a marketing manager, respectively, to showcase her illustration talents. Together the siblings produce whimsical designs inspired by all types of quotidian objects. Licensed by the likes of Babies ’R’ Us and the Land of Nod, their patterns have appeared on blankets, lampshades, and clothing. “Really what I’m looking at is how shapes work with each other,” Hannah says. “Successful patterns are the ones that make the negative space interesting.”
