Sue and Maureen Walsh have always loved both international travel and beautiful objects.

So after years working corporate jobs — Sue as a project manager for a tech company and Maureen as a marketing executive — the Arlington-based sisters decided it was time to pursue their passion for top-shelf home design. They found the perfect spot for their new décor venture in a former Dodge dealership in Belmont. With its funky curved front, wealth of natural light, and wide-open floor plan, the space captures their laid-back yet luxurious aesthetic. “We like to think that Ellen DeGeneres, Tim Gunn, and Victoria Beckham would all shop here,” Sue says.

“I love the juxtaposition of rustic and refined,” Maureen says of this Jeff Jones “Notch” table lamp ($555), made from reclaimed oak.

“The patina is even throughout, so if it chips, the color will be the same,” Sue says of this durable, lightweight John Lamos planter ($75) made of cement and recycled materials.
