The Look: Malafronte added extensions to create an exaggerated bun at the nape of the neck, then teased the hair on top and swept the bangs to the side.

Why It Works: “This style is for a very modern, sophisticated bride,” Malafronte says. “She’s probably having her wedding somewhere in the city. It’s very full, glamorous, sleek, and pulled together—a play on the classic chignon.”

Rustic Farm Vows

The Look: Falone braided the hair along each side of the head, then twisted the two braids together in the back and fastened them in place.

Why It Works: “Braids are big right now,” Falone says. “They are a cool, different way to wear your hair up. This ’do is country-esque, and ties in with a barn-themed wedding. It’s definitely a more- natural look, and not very traditional.”

Preppy Beach Nuptials

The Look: Griffin pulled the hair into a high ponytail, back-combed the strands, pinned them in place to create a full bun, and finished the style with a satin headband.

Why It Works: “When I think preppy, I always think simplicity,” Griffin says. “The high bun with a hint of drama will wow. It’s great for a beach wedding, as the hair is tucked under. If it’s windy—God forbid—the last thing you want to think about is your hair falling out of place.”
