Roasted Nuts

Husband-and-wife team Beth and Brian Quinn have gone upscale with that quintessential bar snack, roasted nuts. The Quinns’ small-batch darlings—flavored with everything from cayenne-mango spice to Mexican chocolate—can be purchased at Q’s Nuts, their new Somerville shop.

Delice de Bourgogne Cheese

This French triple crème’s rich texture and funky tang have earned it a spot on some of the city’s best cheese lists, everywhere from No. 9 Park to Belly Wine Bar. We’ve been buying it by the wedge to enjoy spread on crackers with fruit preserves.

Available at Formaggio Kitchen.

Homemade Sausages

The aged skirt steaks, prime roasts, and various pig parts available at Somerville’s new M. F. Dulock Pasture-Raised Meats are all delicious, but we especially enjoy the house-crafted sausages, which come in varieties like orange-scented lamb loukaniko and fennel-spiked sweet pork.
