We’ll admit we know next to nothing about anime. With a few Miyazaki flicks and graphic novels under our belt, we were woefully unprepared for the assault of spectacle that descended upon the Hynes Convention Center on Easter weekend. Last fall’s Comic Con held about half a candle to the costumes, live gaming, seminars, spontaneous dance eruptions, and physical body count of all things anime. But costumes, of course, were rampant.
