The Patriot Ledger announced last week that Mark Wahlberg will screen his newest film Broken City at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Broken City follows an NYPD officer who tails the wife of the New York City mayor and uncovers a saucy scandal. The screening will take place at Patriot Cinema in the Hingham Shipyard, the venue where Wahlberg also screened his Oscar-nominated film The Fighter and 2010 comedy The Other Guys.
The event is a private screening that is a fundraiser for the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation. Before 11 a.m. Monday, fans can enter to win two tickets to the screening at celebritiesforcharity.org. (Raffle tickets cost $2 each, and a minimum purchase of 5 tickets is required.) According to WCVB, Wahlberg will host an after-screening party at Wahlburgers as well.
Broken City also stars Academy Award winners Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones, in theaters everywhere January 18.
