Classic inspiration, blue and white ceramic is the focus of the newly opened “New Blue and White” exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts. Playing off of a global trend of blue-and-white, this exhibit highlights modern ideas through the popular palette. From a Rodarte dress and heels to inspired takes on porcelain dishware, this exhibit shows an international selection of pieces that each make their own cultural and aesthetic statements.

Haydn in Paris at Symphony Hall

The Boston Symphony Hall is bringing Paris to Boston with Harry Christophers’s rendition of Hadyn, highlighting one of his Paris Symphonies The Bear. The Boston Symphony Orchestra will also perform a different take on Haydn on Saturday, including his Mass in Time of War beside Stravinsky’s 1919 ballet suite Pulcinella.
