Watch Good Will Hunting, Starring Batman

A parody video replaces Ben Affleck's character with Batman.

Comedian Pete Holmes’s impression of Christian Bale playing Batman has earned him many an internet accolade. So when the controversial news broke that Ben Affleck would be playing the Dark Knight in the Justice League movie, Holmes recut scenes from “Good Will Hunting,” replacing Affleck’s character with a ludicrously over-the-top Batman. (Warning, the language isn’t PG.)

Such do we get dramatic quotes from Good Will Hunting made to sound slightly more ridiculous, like this one, in which Batman tells Will:

“Look you’re my best friend so don’t take this the wrong way. But if in 20 years you’re still living here, I’ll fucking kill you. And I’m Batman. Batman doesn’t kill. But for the sin of wasting a beautiful math mind, I’ll make an exception.”

The trailer comes complete with plausible critical reviews. (“Wait, what?” says the New York Times.) Add to that a big two thumbs up from Boston magazine.
