The Mayor’s Holiday Spectacular Returns with Half-Price Tickets to Your Favorite Boston Holiday Shows
It’s that time of year again! The holiday season is upon us, and for the 10th year in a row, the Mayor’s Holiday Spectacular is offering half-price tickets to all your favorite holiday shows, like the Boston Ballet’s The Nutcracker, the BSO’s Holiday Pops, and much more.
Now through January 1, 2014, you can take advantage of thousands of half-price tickets to holiday performances, free festivals, and even $10 vouchers to 21 participating restaurants.
With more than 100 deals to choose from, the only problem we have with this time of year is making decisions. So what’ll it be: A Christmas Story: The Musical by Citi Performing Arts Center? A Christmas Carol at the Hanover? The Little Princess at the Strand?
You’ll find while browsing the abundance of options that there are several versions of your favorite classics being performed this season. Maybe you’re tired of seeing the Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker every year (we’re not, but that’s just us). You can still check out Clara and company at the Hanover in Worcester, or the Duxbury Performing Arts Center, or for a hip-hop twist: go see Urban Nutcracker at the Tony Williams Dance Center, which stars So You Think You Can Dance winner and Boston native Russell Ferguson (he’s a krumper).
No matter what you pick, the Mayor’s Holiday Spectacular is the perfect way to enjoy the best of Boston’s arts scene at a more affordable price point. Grab your friends and family, and enjoy all that the city has to offer this holiday season.
Deals run through January 1, 2014. For more info, visit mayorsholiday.com.
