The wait is finally over.

In May, Boston will host another round of the Boston Calling music festival on the steps of City Hall, with performances from Death Cab for Cutie, Jack Johnson, Modest Mouse, and Brand New—just to name a few.

In their announcement Tuesday morning, organizers gave a lot away about the three-day musical bash, which runs from May 23 through 25, but they didn’t let the lineup completely out of the bag. There’s still one celebrity guest performance that’s under wraps, which will be announced at a later date.

In the meantime, besides the above-mentioned bands that will headline the Memorial Day weekend showcase, attendees will be able to catch Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Head and the Heart, Tegan and Sara, Bastille, Jenny Lewis, Built to Spill, and more.

Boston Calling organizers added an extra day to the event due to the enormous turnout that they saw when the hosted two shows last year, in May and September.

“Everyone involved loves working on this festival, and shares a singular goal of making it a great experience for the fans. Drawing crowds from across the country and giving people the chance to see some of the most incredible artists in the world in downtown Boston has been a privilege,” said Brian Appel, cofounder of Crash Line Productions, the company that helps produce the show.

Boston Calling will also feature a VIP component where ticketholders have access to City Hall Courtyard, a 25,000 square foot, second-floor Mezzanine with a better view of the main stage, as well as menu items and other “amenities,” like 50 food dishes and beers from food trucks and breweries.

Boston Calling’s presale for three-day General Admission and VIP passes opens on January 29, and will start with a limited number of General Admission three-day passes for $150, and VIP three-day passes for $250. General Admission and VIP “Single Day” tickets for the first night of the show, as well as two and three-day General Admission and VIP passes will go on sale Friday January 31.

Enough of all the technical talk, though. Here’s the complete lineup of the show’s performers at Government Center:
