Ben Affleck Accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and Nominated Matt Damon
Looks like everyone including Batman is in on the Ice Bucket Challenge. Ben Affleck took part in the fundraising sensation after Tyler Perry nominated the actor a few days ago. Affleck, a real-life do-gooder, claims that he nominated four people whom he knows “from firsthand experience look good in a wet T-shirt.”
He nominated his BFF Matt Damon, actor Neil Patrick Harris, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, and his wife Jennifer Garner, who does the honors in the video above.
Last week, Justin Timberlake accepted two Boston Marathon survivors’ Ice Bucket Challenge. After the singer nominated Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, they accepted Timberlake’s challenge on The Tonight Show. Mayor Marty Walsh and a fellow Boston writer have also participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which began with Boston local Peter Frates, a 29-year-old former Division I Boston College baseball captain who was diagnosed two years ago with ALS.
