New Kid on the Block Donnie Wahlberg and TV personality Jenny McCarthy got married on Sunday at the iconic Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois. The couple wed in front of close guests including the rest of Wahlberg’s NKOTB bandmates and McCarthy’s former co-host on The View, Sherri Shepherd. While weddings are often a huge family affair, not all of the Wahlberg clan made it to the ceremony. Instead, Mark Wahlberg sent out a heartfelt tweet congratulating the newlyweds on their big day.

He, his wife, and four kids sat down together to send the couple another congratulations via this video posted to Instagram and Facebook. Tuesday is Mark’s oldest daughter Ella’s birthday. She’s 11, FYI—important info.
Donnie then responded with another tweet back to his brother. (Does the Wahlberg family only communicate via social media?)

No sour feelings from Donnie, but apparently Mark isn’t the only famous family member who wasn’t in attendance. Jenny’s cousin, actress Melissa McCarthy, also wasn’t there. Jenny told People magazine a few months ago that she and Donnie planned “a very intimate ceremony that will involve a very small group of our closest friends, and that’s it—not a huge production with hundreds of friends and extended family.”
McCarthy and Wahlberg got engaged last April. McCarthy announced the news on The View.
