After Julian Edelman is done passing out free Dunkin’ Donuts coffee at the Greenway on Tuesday, Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski will visit Somerville, where he and his family will present the local Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading program with a donation of new equipment.

Gronkowski is bringing the gifts on behalf of the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation via Good Sports. Specifically, the funds came from the foundation’s 2014 Boston Marathon team.

The new equipment and apparel include blocking sleds, blocking dummies, football helmets, shoulder pads, cheerleading warm-up suits, and more.

In addition, Gronk will hang out with some of the kids to answer their questions and pass around the pigskin.

“Growing up with football in our lives helped get me and my brothers to where we are today,” Gronkowski says in a press release. “My family and I are pumped to provide the same kind of opportunity to the kids of Somerville with this donation.”
